Vitamin B12 Injections

Vitamin B12 Injections

Vitamin B12 is found in a number of foods, including those shown in the picture (left), and plays an important role in health, including keeping the nervous system healthy.

Clients following a Vegan diet are at risk of low B12 levels, as this article from the BBC website explains.

A deficiency in Vitamin B12 can cause a number of symptoms including extreme tiredness, a lack of energy, pins and needles, a sore and red tongue, mouth ulcers, muscle weakness, psychological problems, or problems with memory.

If you suffer from any of these it is important to consult your GP to obtain a diagnosis, and rule out other conditions, including Pernicious Anaemia - Click here for the Pernicious Anaemia Website.
